Generating an amended KFI

If you are required to generate an amended KFI, you will receive an amended KFI request email from us.

  1. Log on to the KFI generator, using your email address as your log-in and your selected password.
  2. Select the client for whom you would like to generate the amended KFI request. The relevant client reference number is referred to in the email we sent you. Select the 'New amended KFI request' button
  3. The professional valuation will be displayed under 'Property has been valued at'. If relevant, here you can edit the protected equity option or your advice fee.
  4. Choose the product your client wishes to take. This can be the same or different to the product they previously selected.
  5. The summary page will appear where you can confirm that you're happy recommending the product. Click the 'yes' button once you are happy with the details to generate the amended KFI and wait until the new KFI appears.
  6. Once you have reviewed the amended KFI, you will have 3 choices:
    • If you have agreed this amended KFI with your client and you would like to submit it to Stonehaven click on the submit button.
    • If you have not yet discussed this with your client, click here to return to the customer detail page where you will be able to submit the amended KFI at a later date. Or
    • Email it to yourself
  7. If you choose the first option and submit the amended KFI, you will be asked to confirm that you're comfortable submitting this to us, as the offer letter will be issued to your client. If you choose the second option, please discuss this with your client, and when you return to the KFI generator simply select the client again.
  8. Now, you have 2 options:
    • If your client would like to proceed with the amended KFI, choose the amended KFI under 'Amended KFI requests'.
    • If your client would like to change the amended KFI select 'New amended KFI request' and go back to step 5.
  9. Submit it to Stonehaven and click on the 'Submit as amended KFI' button.
  10. You will be asked to confirm that you have checked with your client as once you click ok an offer letter will be issued. Click 'ok' if you're happy to proceed.
  11. Your amended KFI is successfully submitted to Stonehaven and we will proceed with the application.
