Stonehaven launch Interest Select

Stonehaven are delighted to announce the launch of Interest Select. The only product in the market where your client can pay part or all of the interest.

How does it work?

• Like our previous Interest Only product, your client will receive a lump sum (min £20,000)
• The maximum amount your client can borrow will depend on the LTV’s and the interest rates they will pay.
• Your client can select how much interest they want to pay (min £25 per month) and for how long they want to make the payments.
• If your client elects to pay less than 100% of the interest, the loan is effectively split into two parts;
* The Interest payment part
* The Interest roll-up part

Stonehaven launch Interest Select Roadshows

Stonehaven are delighted to invite Advisers to a series of roadshows to launch our new Interest Select Lifetime Mortgage product.

The roadshows will demonstrate how this new product can increase overall sales, as well as providing all the details that you need to know about the product and it’s benefits.

Lifetime Mortgages are becoming an increasingly popular way for homeowners over the age of 55 to release cash from their property. Some homeowners however worry that taking out a roll-up Lifetime Mortgage means that the size of the loan increases as interest on the initial loan accumulates over time.

The Stonehaven Interest Select Lifetime Mortgage has been designed to address these concerns by offering the homeowner the opportunity to pay some or all of the interest on the loan.

The roadshows will be held in both the morning and afternoon on the following dates:

Stonehaven revise their interest rates and the way they are calculated

We have now revised our interest rates, updated the way they are calculated and capped our LTVs from the age of 75. As usual the interest rate depends on the product you choose, however it will now take into account the age of the younger borrower.

This may mean that for some of your clients our rates will be even more competitive.

Stonehaven reduce interest rates and LTVs for Lump Sum Max

The new interest rate will be 7.11%.

The LTVs will be reduced by 2% from the 24th of May.

These are the only changes to our product range.

Dates:

KFI Generator: All KFI’s generated from Saturday 24th May 2008 will reflect the new LTVs and interest rate.

Applications based on KFI’s generated before Saturday 24th May must be received by Monday 9th June 2008 5.00pm. Applications must include a cheque to cover the valuation fee.

Please note, all applications received after Monday 9th June will be processed at the new interest rate and must quote a KFI number generated after the LTV and interest rate change.

Announcing the cheapest flexible product and increased LTVs on Lump Sum Max

We are delighted to announce the following changes to Stonehaven’s product range which are effective from Monday 10th March 2008.

Introducing Flexible Cash Release Options:

• New Flexible Cash Release Lite at 5.97% (the cheapest flexible product on the market for all your clients except those who are aged 60-65) and Flexible Cash Release at 6.43%

• In addition, the minimum initial advance has now been reduced to £15,000 and further drawdowns from the Cash Reserve Facility have been reduced to £2,000

Lump Sum Max:

• Lump Sum Max LTVs have increased by a further 1% for clients up to the age of 80

• The interest rate has increased to 7.21%

• The LTVs are capped at 48.5% from the age of 80 and above.
